The Eye of Judgment - One of the PS3’s most interesting games

Gamespot has a hands-on with The Eye of Judgment, one of the PS3’s most interesting and innovative games which comes packed in with the Playstation Eye camera. Essentially, you use the Playstation Eye to detect the movement of cards on a physical playing mat. The movement of cards translates into in-game actions. The game is due to release Q4 2007.

New video game releases week 18, 2007

Here’s a list of this weeks US game releases. Spider-Man 3 on all platforms is THE most popular game this week and with good reason, the third movie looks great. On the downloadable games front we’ve got some awesome Wii Virtual Console download releases, Catan on Xbox Live Arcade, and finally Calling All Cars will be in the PS3 Store.

PS3 to Get Price Cut?

Increased output of blue-violet diodes hints at future price cuts. Production of the diode — a key ingredient of the PS3’s Blu-ray drive — is currently at 1.7 million a month and Sony is now prepared to up that to 5 million which will decrease Sony’s materials cost which should result in price cuts for the PS3.

Burnout 5 renamed Burnout Paradise and first video for the PS3 and Xbox 360

Electronic Arts and Criterion Games today announced that the Burnout 5 for PS3 and Xbox 360 will be renamed as Burnout Paradise. The racing game is unveiled in the first video and will be released in winter 2007. The game promises an “unprecedented level of crash deformation” and a large free-roaming world.
